June 2008
~ Now it's Dad's turn! June 1st through June 13th enter that special dad in your life into our drawing. Three special dad's will win $20 in Dawson Bonus Bucks!
~ Do the kid's need a day for fun now that school is out? On June 12th, Tim's Food Pride in Dawson is sponsoring Kid's Day! From 4pm to 7pm bring the kid's in for some summer fun. More information coming soon.
~ June 27th through June 29th is Dawson's Riverfest Celebration! Come join in the fun of the softball tournaments, unveiling of this year's Gnome, fireworks and so much more.
July 2008
~ Join the Dawson Area Pool Committee and the City of Dawson for an Afternoon in the Park on July 13th. This is their chance to thank all of the volunteers, surrounding townships, and the citizens of Dawson for helping to build our new pool. Come down the the swimming pool park from 4-6pm for a BBQ and opening ceremonies!
~ Wednesday July 16th is the 5th Annual Ag Appreciation Golf Outing at the Dawson Golf Course. There is a 2pm shotgun start with meal and prizes starting at 5:30pm.
$150/4 person team - includes golf, prizes and meal)
$25/person for meal only
Steaks are being prepared by Midwest Cattleman's Association.

~ Crazy Dayz is July 17th! We're kicking off the day with breakfast from 7:30am until 9am in the Minnwest Bank parking lot. At 11:00am the Kids Coin Hunt will begin in front of the Dawson Co-op Credit Union and the 3 on 3 Basketball Tourney will start at 4:00pm on Main Street (Contact Josh Falness for details at 769-2908). Stick around for a full day of shopping and amazing sales!
